WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Sr. Shopify Web Developer who thrives in a fast-moving, multi-brand environment and enjoys balancing technical execution with thoughtful problem-solving. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly across time zones, and take ownership of projects from concept through launch.
Success in this role requires strong Shopify expertise, excellent judgment, attention to detail, and the confidence to proactively recommend better solutions when needed.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Develop, maintain, and optimize multiple Shopify storefronts across four consumer brands
- Build and support custom web properties and landing pages outside of Shopify when required
- Collaborate with marketing, brand, and leadership stakeholders to deliver web initiatives
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
- Manage Shopify theme development using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs
- Implement CRM, marketing automation, and third-party platform integrations
- Monitor and improve site performance, Core Web Vitals, and overall user experience
- Support CRO initiatives through testing, optimization, and continuous improvement
- Review, test, and validate changes before deployment to production environments
- Provide technical recommendations that improve functionality, usability, and business outcomes
YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE
- 5+ years of professional web development experience
- Strong Shopify development expertise, including Liquid, APIs, and theme customization
- Experience managing multiple websites, brands, or digital properties simultaneously
- Proven experience integrating Shopify with CRM platforms and marketing tools
- Strong understanding of Git-based workflows and deployment processes
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished work
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to evaluate solutions rather than blindly following requirements or AI-generated outputs
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a distributed team
- A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset focused on solving problems before they become blockers
- Shopify Plus experience
- Headless Shopify, Hydrogen, or Oxygen experience
- GA4 and Shopify Analytics knowledge
- SEO experience within e-commerce environments
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
