ABOUT THE COMPANY

PBJ Marketing, a rapidly growing, full-service digital marketing agency, is looking to hire a Paid Media Manager with prior experience in digital marketing. We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and tenacious individual who is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.


Our Paid Media Manager will serve as their client's POC and digital marketing strategist, developing and managing a portfolio of PPC accounts and marketing campaigns, building great relationships, managing projects and deliverables, and growing accounts. You’ll serve as the client’s representative to our internal team and as the face of PBJ Marketing in all client interactions.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a senior Paid Media professional who thrives in a highly autonomous, client-facing environment. This is not a role for someone who only manages campaigns behind the scenes. You’ll own strategy, execution, client communication, and account performance while serving as the trusted advisor for your portfolio.


The right person combines deep Google Ads expertise with strong business communication, analytical thinking, and the confidence to lead client conversations independently.


IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Own a portfolio of paid media accounts from strategy through execution and optimization
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings and managing ongoing communication
  • Develop integrated paid media strategies across Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping, Video, and Paid Social channels
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, growth, and ROI
  • Present recommendations, insights, and performance narratives to clients with confidence and clarity
  • Investigate performance trends and proactively solve problems before they become larger issues
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, reporting, and account performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal specialists supporting creative development and conversion tracking implementation
  • Conduct testing across audiences, bidding strategies, messaging, and campaign structures
  • Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and emerging opportunities within paid media
  • Support future team growth through mentorship and leadership as management responsibilities expand


YOU’LL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE

  • 5 to 7 years of experience working on Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax, Shopping), Microsoft Ads, and Paid Social advertising (TikTok Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Experience working within a digital marketing agency environment
  • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to independently lead strategic conversations
  • Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
  • A proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and clear client narratives
  • Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in a remote environment
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and comfort working independently


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience managing Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, or other paid social campaigns
  • Previous people management or direct-report leadership experience
  • Experience working with B2B organizations, higher education institutions, healthcare organizations, or nonprofits
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard reporting
